Swift Spiders – Corinnidae
Swift spiders are a group of free-roaming ground dwelling spiders that physically overpower their prey rather than using a web. Many are ant and wasp mimics and have bright contrasting patterns to enable them to be active by day with reduced risks of predation. They are generally very fast runners that move with extreme bursts of speed.
